Mga kapatid, let’s be discerning. Itong infographic na ito ay madalas gamitin ng mga Seventh-day Adventists (SDA) para palabasin na ang "Everlasting Gospel" nila ang tanging balanse. Pero using the Bible lens without mixing Ellen G. White, makikita natin na ang chart na ito ay mapanlinlang (deceptive) at kulang sa tamang pag-unawa sa biyaya.
Heto ang point-by-point critique natin:
1. The "SDA Everlasting Gospel" Trap (The Blue Column) 🟦
Sinasabi rito na, "Salvation is by grace alone for all."
The SDA Deception: Sa SDA theology, itong "Grace" na ito ay parang fuel lang para makasunod ka sa Kautusan (Sabbath, etc.) para makapasa sa Investigative Judgment.
The Bible Defense: Naniniwala tayo sa Prevenient Grace, ang biyaya ng Diyos na kumikilos sa lahat para bigyang-daan ang tao na tumugon sa Kanya. Pero ang kaligtasan ay hindi "conditional" sa ating performance sa judgment; ito ay secure sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya kay Kristo! Ang "Everlasting Gospel" ng SDA ay "Probationary Gospel" lang pala.
2. The Attack on Sovereignty (The Orange Column) 🍊
Nilagay nila ang column na ito para takutin ang mga tao sa "Distorted Gospel" kung saan ang ilan ay "no choice."
The SDA Deception: Ginagawa nilang "monstrous" ang God of the Bible para i-push ang kanilang legalistic middle ground.
The Bible Defense: Kahit hindi tayo Calvinist, alam natin na ang kaligtasan ay 100% work of God. Hindi natin "ine-earn" ang favor Niya. Ang pagkakamali ng chart na ito ay ang pag-aakalang ang "Choice" ng tao ay kailangang dagdagan ng "Gawa" (Sabbath keeping) para maligtas. No! We choose to believe, but it is Christ’s blood alone that justifies us.
3. "Lost because they fail to do enough" (The Yellow Column) 🟨
Sinasabi rito na ang "Distorted Gospel" ay "Grace + Works."
The Irony: Dito tayo natatawa (with sadness). Ang SDA doctrine ng Investigative Judgment ay ang mismong definition ng "Grace + Works." Kung kailangan pang i-review ang buhay mo para malaman kung "worthy" ka, then it’s not Grace Alone! Hindi namamalayan ng maraming mga Sabadista ngayon na concept ng salvation ng SDA church ay minana nila sa Roman Catholic Church instead of the Protestant Reformation (See "Tara, Bible Study Tayo! "Righteousness by Faith: "Ang Pagkakatulad ng Doktrina ng Seventh Day Adventist at ng Roman Catholic Church!")
The Truth: Sa New Covenant, we obey because we are already saved, not so that we might be saved. Ang obedience natin ay bunga (fruit), hindi ugat (root) ng kaligtasan.
4. The Universalism Red Herring (The Green Column) 🟢
Nilagay ito para isipin mo na "If you don't follow our Sabbath-centered gospel, mapupunta ka sa Universalism."
The SDA Deception: False choice ito. Ang Bible ay naniniwalang ang alok ng Diyos ay para sa lahat (General Atonement), pero ang makikinabang lang ay ang mga mananatili sa pananampalataya (Conditional Security through faith, not through law-keeping).
The Bottom Line:
Ang "Everlasting Gospel" sa chart na ito ay hindi yung sa Revelation 14. Ito ay isang Legalistic Trap na nakabalot sa Christian terminology. Don't be fooled by the "free grace" labels if they eventually lead you back to Mt. Sinai and the 10 Commandments as a requirement for salvation.
Real Talk Reflection
"You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace." (Galatians 5:4)
Call to Action: Examine your heart today. Is your assurance based on your performance, or on the finished work of Christ received by a living faith?
Stay grounded in the New Covenant! Kay Kristo lang ang ating kasiguruhan.
