Wondering where your Voluntary Donations to Former Adventists Philippines go?

For the Stuff They Do Regularly:

Friends, in a world where old ideas can sometimes make things unclear, there's a podcast called "Investigating Adventism." It's like a brave, clear voice that comes out every week, asking us to look closely at things and really understand them. This podcast is part of the Former Adventist Philippines group, and it's doing important work to help people learn. But to make this helpful voice even stronger, it needs your support.

Help us make our weekly YouTube podcast, "Investigating Adventism," even better!

Better Gear: To make our podcast sound and look even better, we need to upgrade our equipment, like microphones, cameras, lights, and computer software. Your support can help us get this better gear!

Internet and Electricity Bills: Just like paying for internet and electricity at home, we have these bills too, so we can upload our videos and keep everything running for the podcast. Your support helps us cover these essential costs.

Helping Guests: Sometimes we have guests on our podcast, and your support can help us cover their travel costs or give them a small thank you for being on the show. This helps us bring more voices and perspectives to "Investigating Adventism."

Getting the Word Out: To reach more people who might find "Investigating Adventism" helpful, we need to spread the word on social media and other websites. What many don't realize is that boosting our posts on these platforms to reach a wider audience isn't free; it actually costs a significant amount. Your support helps us invest in these necessary promotions so more people can discover our content and join the conversation.

Paying for Software: They use special computer programs (that aren’t free) to edit and make the videos look better.

Keeping Their Online Stuff Running:

Website Costs: Just like renting a space on the internet, we have yearly costs to keep our website up and running. Your support helps us pay these essential "rent" fees so our online home for information and resources stays accessible to everyone.

Making the Website Better: To make our website easier to use and add helpful new features, like a better way for you to support our work, we need funds for these improvements. Your contribution can help us create a more user-friendly and effective online platform.

Donation Fees: When you generously donate online, the companies that process these payments often take a small percentage as a fee. Your support helps us account for these unavoidable donation fees, ensuring that more of your intended contribution directly supports the ministry's work.

Printing Materials: Sometimes we want to share information through printed materials like flyers or booklets. Your support helps us cover the printing costs so we can reach people in our local community here in San Jose del Monte City and beyond with tangible resources.

Right now, FAP is trying to save money for a special project: printing a book. This book is called "Seventh-Day Adventists Answered Verse-by-Verse," and it's almost ready to be printed. We're hoping to save enough money to pay for all the printing costs. Our goal is to share this book all over the Philippines so that many people can learn from it, especially those who don't have internet access and can't watch our videos online. Your support can help us make this important book a reality and reach even more people here in San Jose del Monte City, across Central Luzon, and throughout the entire Philippines.

Phone Service: The FAP ministry also needs phone credit to connect with members who only have phones and no internet access. Sometimes, the best way to reach out for important conversations is by calling them directly. Your support helps us cover these phone service costs so we can stay in touch with everyone in our community, especially those without internet here in San Jose del Monte City, Central Luzon, and beyond.

For Special Activities They Want to Do:

Online Bible Studies or Classes:

Paying for Meeting Software: To hold our online video meetings and classes, we use a platform called Google Meet, which has a monthly fee. Your support helps us cover these meeting software costs so we can continue to connect with our community online, with members further away.

Study Materials: To help people learn and understand better, we often create study guides that we share online or print out. Your support helps us cover the costs of creating and sharing these study materials, making valuable resources available to everyone.

Tech Help: Sometimes, running our online events smoothly requires technical expertise. Your support helps us get tech help when we need it, ensuring our online gatherings run without a hitch for everyone participating, whether they're here in San Jose del Monte City, Central Luzon, or joining us from elsewhere.

Helping the Community:

Travel Costs: When our volunteers travel to different places to offer help and support, they need money for things like gas or transportation fares. Your support helps us cover these travel costs so our team can reach out and assist those in need.

Things to Give Away: Our ministry often wants to provide direct help by buying food or other essential supplies for people who are struggling. Your support allows us to purchase these items to give away, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

Renting Places: When we hold FAP Conference events or meetings, we sometimes need to rent a space to accommodate everyone. Your support helps us cover these rental costs, allowing us to gather and connect with our community in a comfortable and accessible location.

Paying for an Office: Right now, here in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, we have our main office and podcast studio in a rented space. This costs us ₱6,000 every month, and we're finding it difficult to consistently raise the funds to cover the monthly rent and the upkeep of this vital hub for our ministry. Your support can directly help us secure this essential space and ensure we can continue our work and outreach right here in our community.

For Keeping Things Going Long-Term:

Taking Care of a Vehicle (or Buying One): Having a reliable vehicle is crucial for our ministry's work, whether it's for our team to travel to different communities or to transport supplies for our outreach efforts here in San Jose del Monte City, Central Luzon, and beyond. Your support helps us cover the ongoing costs of gas and repairs for our current vehicle, or contributes towards the big goal of buying a more dependable car or van for the ministry's long-term needs.

Saving for Future Projects: Looking ahead, the FAP ministry has big dreams and plans to expand our reach and impact, both here in San Jose del Monte City, Central Luzon, and across the Philippines. To make these future projects a reality, we need to save funds. When we ask for your support, we'll always be clear about exactly what your donation will go towards, so you can see the difference you're making. We also aim to keep our community informed about our ongoing needs, so you know how you can best partner with us in this important work.
