Tara Bible Study Tayo! "What does it really mean to "Watch" in Matthew 24?"

Bible Student:

Pastor Ronald:
Magandang tanong 'yan! Marami talagang "over-excitement" pagdating sa usapang 'yan. Pero alam mo, if we look at it from a Partial Preterist perspective and understand the New Covenant context, magiging malinaw at hindi nakaka-pressure ang sagot.

Bible Student:
Partial Preterist?

Sa Reformed Arminian view natin, we believe in the importance of holiness, pero hindi ito "fear-based" watching.

It’s about being faithful to the mission He gave us.

Bible Student:

Pastor Ronald:
Simple lang: Faithfulness in Service.

Bible Student:

Pastor Ronald:
Tumpak! Live your life as if He’s coming today, but plan your ministry as if He’s coming in a hundred years. Stay alert to the truth ng Word, 'wag magpaloko sa mga false prophets, and just rest in the finished work of Christ. 'Yan ang true New Covenant watching!

Real Talk Reflection

"Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming." — Matthew 24:42 (ESV)

Call to Action: Instead of obsessing over geopolitical headlines or living in a state of performance-based fear, focus today on the finished work of Christ. Live in the rest of the New Covenant, being spiritually alert by abiding in His grace rather than tracking the "shadows" of the Old.
