Setting: Isang cozy na coffee shop. Magkaharap si Pastor Ronald at ang isang curious na Bible Student. Mainit ang kape, bukas ang mga Bible, at handa na para sa seryosong usapan na chill lang.
Bible Student:
Pastor, medyo malalim 'tong topic natin ngayon ah. "Unity in diversity." Paano ba talaga gumagalaw ang Holy Spirit sa buhay natin, lalo na’t ang dami-daming denominations at magkakaibang pananaw? Minsan nakakalito, eh.
Pastor Ronald:
Magandang simula 'yan, kapatid! It’s a classic question. Unahin natin sa basic: Malalaman ba natin kung nasa atin talaga ang Holy Spirit?
Bible Student:
'Yun nga, Pastor. Kailangan ba laging may "kilig" o dramatic experience?
Pastor Ronald:
Hindi naman kailangang laging dramatic, like lightning strikes. Ang real evidence ay transformed life. May bagong desires ka na ba for God? (2 Cor 5:17). May conviction of sin (John 16:8)? Kaya mo bang tawaging "Lord" si Jesus nang buong puso (1 Cor 12:3)? At siyempre, 'yung spiritual fruit (Gal 5:22-23). Hindi lang ito "feeling," kundi bunga ng pagbabago.
Bible Student:
Pero Pastor, paano kung maling espiritu pala 'yung nararamdaman ko? Paano natin malalaman na Holy Spirit 'to at hindi galing sa kabila?
Pastor Ronald:
Simple lang ang test based sa 1 John 4:1-3: Test the spirits. Tinatanyag ba Niya si Jesus bilang Lord na naging tao? Inaakay ka ba sa holiness o sa kasalanan? Higit sa lahat, ang Holy Spirit never contradicts the Word of God. Kung ang "bulong" ay labag sa Bible, red flag 'yun. Ang Holy Spirit, laging si Christ ang bida, hindi ang sarili (John 16:14).
Bible Student:
Okay, clear 'yun. Pero heto ang medyo tricky: Iisa ba ang turo ng Holy Spirit sa lahat? Bakit parang ang daming interpretasyon?
Pastor Ronald:
Sa essentials ng faith the "must-haves" YES, iisa ang turo Niya (Eph 4:4-6). Lahat ng tunay na believers agree: Jesus is Lord, salvation is by grace, and Scripture is the authority. Pero sa "non-essentials" o secondary issues, doon nagkakaroon ng diversity. Realidad 'yan ng church history.
Bible Student:
So, hindi pala guarantee na walang debate kahit pare-parehong may Holy Spirit?
Pastor Ronald:
Correct! Look at Paul and Barnabas (Acts 15:39). Parehong Spirit-filled, pero nagkaroon ng "sharp disagreement." Ang Holy Spirit gives unity sa core, pero He allows us to grow and learn sa ibang areas. Maturity takes time, eh.
Bible Student:
Ibig sabihin ba, kahit iba-ibang denomination, may Holy Spirit pa rin?
Pastor Ronald:
Absolutely! Ang Holy Spirit dwells sa lahat ng tunay na believers (Rom 8:9). Baptist ka man, Presbyterian, Methodist, o independent, basta kay Christ ka, born again ka at nasa iyo ang Spirit.
Isipin mo 'to: Ang Church ay parang isang malaking bahay (John 14:2). Bawat denomination ay parang isang kwarto. May Baptist room, may Reformed room, may Pentecostal room. Iba-iba ang style at ayos ng bawat room, pero iisa ang pundasyon (Christ), iisa ang Owner (God), at iisang pamilya ang nakatira. Hindi mo kailangang lumipat ng kwarto para maging parte ng bahay. You're already in the house!
Bible Student:
Ah, gets ko na! So hindi pala kailangan ng isang dambuhalang organization para maging "one"?
Pastor Ronald:
Tama. Spiritually, the Church is already one. Organizationally, diversity will likely remain until Jesus returns. Ang goal natin? Unity in essentials, liberty in non-essentials, and in all things, charity (love). Hindi tinuturo ng Spirit na, "Lipat ka sa Room 3!" Ang sabi Niya: "Stay in the house, love your brothers and sisters sa ibang rooms, and keep Jesus as your foundation."

Ngayong linggo, subukang makipag-fellowship o mag-pray para sa isang kapatid na nasa ibang denomination o may ibang pananaw sa "non-essential" issues. Imbes na hanapin ang pagkakaiba, ipagpasalamat ang iisang Spirit na nananahan sa inyong dalawa.
