Let’s break this down gamit ang ating Q&A format para mas madaling ma-digest.
Answer: Maraming skeptics ang nagsasabing "Charge of Contradiction" ito. Pero actually, even most atheists today don't use this argument anymore. Bakit? Kasi if God has even one possible good reason to allow evil, then the contradiction is defeated. Hindi kailangang alam natin ang mismong reason ni God; the mere possibility that He has a reason proves that God and evil can exist at the same time.
Answer: Ito ang "Evidential Argument."
Pero we have to be careful with this reasoning: "It seems like there is no reason, therefore, probably there is no reason."
For three days, it looked like a "pointless evil."
Pero noong dumating si Jesus at binuhay si Lazarus, nakita ang bigger picture: it was for God’s glory. God had a reason for the delay and the death that no one in Bethany could have imagined at that time.
Answer: There are two main reasons:
Meaningful Action: God created a stable, cause-and-effect universe where human freedom exists. This is necessary for our actions to have real meaning, even if it allows for the possibility of evil.
Isaias 55:8-9. RTPV05
Real Talk Reflection
Friends, let's have some Real Talk. Pero under the New Covenant, we have this assurance: God is not a distant judge observing our pain; He is a loving Father who entered our suffering through Christ.
Just like Lazarus’ sisters, we might see the mourning now, but the resurrection is coming. Trust His heart even when you can't trace His hand.
Instead of asking "Why, Lord?", try praying: "Lord, I don't see the reason yet, but I trust that You are good and You are in control. Use this for Your glory."
