We pray that this letter finds you well. We, the Admin of Former Adventist Fellowship Philippines write on behalf of our FAFP team in the name of our Church: Complete In Jesus Church.

However, organizing such a significant event requires considerable resources. We are humbly seeking assistance with the following:

Transportation: We kindly request support for transportation services to help transport attendees to and from the event venue. As independent soldiers of Christ, we face challenges with transportation, and your contribution would greatly enhance their ability to attend.

Food: As the event will span over a day, providing food for participants and volunteers is crucial to ensure everyone's well-being during the event. Your contribution toward meals and refreshments would be deeply appreciated.

"MAYABANG BANG SABIHIN NA SIGURADO KA NA LIGTAS KA?"

Isang pag-uusap sa ilang Seventh-day Adventist na kaibigan sa Facebook: Kung Kristiyano ka at nagtiwala kay Jesus, mayabang bang sabihin na sigurado ka na ligtas ka na?

Narito ang isang bahagi ng aking pag-uusap:

"Ang mga tumatanggap sa Tagapagligtas, gaano man kataimtim ang kanilang pagbabalik-loob. ay hindi dapat turuang sabihin o madama na sila ay naligtas." - Ellen G. White

Sinabi ni apostol Juan,

“Ang mga bagay na ito ay isinulat ko sa inyo, upang inyong maalaman na kayo'y mayroong buhay na walang hanggan, sa makatuwid ay sa inyong nananampalataya sa pangalan ng Anak ng Dios.” (1 Juan 5:13)

Maaari mo bang malaman na ikaw ay may buhay na walang hanggan? Oo, kung naniniwala ka sa Anak ng Diyos.

Mayabang bang sabihin na alam mong mayroon kang buhay na walang hanggan ngayon? Hindi.

Dahil ang aking kaligtasan ay nakasalalay hindi sa aking mabubuting gawa kundi sa natapos na gawain ni Jesus. Kung mayroon mang yabang, ito ay kapag sinabi mong hindi mo alam kung ikaw ay ligtas na ngayon "nakabinbin ang resulta ng iyong PAGSUNOD". Yabang yan. Sa katapusan ng iyong buhay, alam mong naligtas ka dahil sumunod ka, hindi dahil lamang sa ginawa ni Jesus sa krus. Kaya, dalawang pagpipilian: 1. "Ligtas ka ba ngayon? Hindi sigurado. Tingnan natin kung sumunod ako hanggang sa katapusan ng aking buhay". Hindi ito ang ebanghelyo (magandang balita). Sa katunayan ito ay masamang balita. Paano ka mabubuhay araw-araw na may ganoong kaisipan? 2. "Naligtas ka ba ngayon? Oo! Dahil lamang ako ay sumampalatay na namatay si Hesus sa krus at muling nabuhay para sa akin, at hindi dahil sa aking pagsunod sa 10 utos!" Ito, sa katunayan, ang ebanghelyo, ang mabuting balita. Makakatulog ako nang ligtas sa gabi, hindi lamang umaasa na ako ay naligtas, ngunit sigurado na ako ay dahil kay Jesus na aking personal na Panginoon at Tagapagligtas. Ano ang pipiliin mo kaibigan? Inaantay ng Panginoon ang iyong desisyon para sa iyong kaligtasan.

PINALAYA NI CRISTO MULA SA KAUTUSAN!

    Lahat ng ipinanganak ng tao ay buhay LAMAN. Ang lahat ng tao ay taglay ang makasalanang buhay na ito na galing kay ADAN, ang taong taga lupa.( 1 Cor.15:45-49; Roma 7:14-20) Ang kautusan o 10 Utos ay ginawa at ipinatong ng Dios sa buhay LAMAN na makasalanan upang hatulan ng kamatayan ito.( 1 Tim.1:8-10; Roma 7:5; 2 Cor.3:5-9) May hangganan ang "ministeryo ng kamatayan na nasulat sa tapyas ng bato." ( Sampung Utos) .Ito ay pinairal mula kay Moises hanggang dumating si Cristo. ( Gal.3:19-26). Bakit? Lahat ay nagkasala at nahatulan ng kamatayan.( Roma 3:23; Gal.3:10) .

    Sinugo ng Dios ang kanyang Anak na si Cristo sa lupa sa katawang-tao. " Siya ang TUMUBOS sa atin mula sa SUMPA NG KAUTUSAN..upang matanggap natin ang PANGAKONG ESPIRITU sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya."Gal.3:13,14. Yun ang nagpalaya sa atin mula sa Kautusan. " Si Cristo ang tumikim ng kamatayan para sa lahat." Heb.2:9;9:15 Kasi may bisa lang ang kautusan sa tao hanggang tayo ay buhay , o nasa " buhay Laman na makasalanan" ( Rom.7:1,5).Paano tayo NAMATAY? -" NAMATAY kayo sa KAUTUSAN sa pamamagitan ng katawan ni Cristo." ( Rom.7:4; Gal. 2:19-21) 

    Simple po ang PAGTUBOS: " Ang ISA ay namatay para sa lahat, kung gayon LAHAT ay namatay na." 2 Cor.5:14. Sumasampalataya ka ba kay CRISTO NA SIYA ANG MANUNUBOS MO? Hindi ka na sakop ng Kautusan sapagkat namatay na si CRISTO PARA SA IYO. SI CRISTO na ang kumuha ng HATOL O SUMPA NG KAUTUSAN PARA SAYO. Yan ang PAGPAPALAYA NI CRISTO sa mga tao mula sa kautusan.(Gal.4:4-7; 5:1-6,18-25): " NAMATAY NA AKO SA KAUTUSAN upang mabuhay sa Dios. NAPAKO AKO NA KASAMA NI CRISTO. Hindi na ako ang nabubuhay kundi si CRISTO NA NABUBUHAY sa aking katawan..sa pagsampalataya ko sa Anak ng Dios." (Gal 2:19-20)      

    Ang Kautusan ay nagwakas na kay Cristo sa krus. NGAYON ay nasa BAGONG TIPAN na tayo .MATUWID NA ANG SUMAMPALATAYA kay Cristo at NASA BUHAY ESPIRITU na , hindi na sa buhay Laman na makasalanan na nasa ilalim ng kautusan.( Rom.8:9-17; 10:4; Efe.2:14-20) 

    Ngayon ay Anak ka na ng Dios sa pananampalataya kay Cristo. Kung bumalik ka sa kautusan o "pamatok ng pagka-Alipin", hulog ka sa biyaya ng Dios at hiwalay ka kay Cristo.( Gal.5:1-5; 4:4-7,21-31)

HOW THE DEATH OF CHRIST SET US FREE FROM THE LAW?

The holy GOD  laid down the "holy and righteous and good law" of the Ten Commandments upon the  "ungodly and sinners, the unholy and profane, murderers, adulterers, liars ... and  NOT  FOR  THE  RIGHTEOUS " ( 1 Timothy 1:8-10 )  WHY? The law is a "ministry of  DEATH, written on tables of stone". (2 Corinthians 3:7 ) . It's "letter kills", v.6 . It is also a "ministry of CONDEMNATION" . v.9. Such is the sole function of the law of the Ten Commandments. Simply because all human beings since Adam are  SINFUL  BY  NATURE  AND FROM  BIRTH. ( Romans 5:12-14 / Romans 5:18-19 /  Romans 7:14-24  / Psalms 51:5  / John 3:6 ) . GOD would be an unjust GOD if he would give them a law that would justify them. 

     Apostle Paul wrote:  " If a law had been given that could give life ( SPIRIT life  - Galatians 3:2-5  / Galatians 3:13-14 / Galatians 4:4-7 ),  then righteousness would indeed be by the law ". ( Galatians 3:21 ) . NO!  The law is for SINNERS  or FLESH ONLY and its sole purpose is TO  CONDEMN  AND KILL  SINNERS. For  GOD,  " the wages of sin is DEATH " . ( Romans 6:23 / Genesis 2:17).

     Therefore, as long as men are sinners because of their sinful nature or life of FLESH, they are UNDER THE LAW. ( Romans 7:5  /  Romans 7:1 ) . The law would continue to assert its authority and power to condemn and CURSE  and kill them. " Whatever the law says it SPEAKS  to THOSE UNDER  THE LAW so that every mouth might be stopped, ( from self - justification  ) and the whole world be held ACCOUNTABLE  TO GOD. For by the works of the law, NO FLESH  ( human life ) will be  JUSTIFIED before  GOD " . ( Romans 3:19-20 ). 

     Clearly, then, only two destinies await sinful mankind: ALL MUST DIE  or ONE  RIGHTEOUS  BEING  DIE  FOR  THEM. The former is LAW; the latter is  GRACE. If the law is enforced, there is no hope for mankind. But in  "  the grace of  GOD, CHRIST TASTED  DEATH FOR  EVERYONE  ". ( Hebrews 2:9 / Hebrews 2:14-15  ) . " One died for all, therefore all have died  " .  ( 2 Corinthians 5:14).

 

     This is the GOOD  NEWS: " CHRIST abolished death and brought  LIFE  AND  IMMORTALITY to light through the gospel ". ( 2  Timothy 1:10 ) . CHRIST set us free from the law by his death. " You  DIED  TO  THE  LAW, through the body of  CHRIST ...discharged from the law, DEAD to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the NEW  LIFE  OF THE SPIRIT  and not in the old way of the  WRITTEN  CODE  " . ( Law or  Ten Commandments ). Romans  7:4-7 / Galatians 2:19-21  ) . 

     Hear the good news!  " YOU  ARE  NOT  UNDER  LAW  but  UNDER  GRACE  ". ( Romans  6:14 ) . " CHRIST  is the mediator of a NEW  COVENANT  ( SPIRIT  that  GIVES  LIFE  )  ...because a DEATH  ( ON  THE CROSS ) has occurred that redeems us from the transgressions  UNDER THE FIRST  COVENANT " . ( law that kills ). ( Hebrews 9:15-16 / Deuteronomy  4:13 / Exodus 34:28-35  / 2 Corinthians  3:5-18 ) . 

     Only believers partake of this  GRACE  AND  NEW  COVENANT!  Those who return to  " the law have fallen from grace and separated from CHRIST  " . ( Galatians 5:1-5 ) . The death of CHRIST set us free from the law and now gives us  BELIEVERS IN CHRIST  the SPIRIT LIFE. 

     " If you are led by the SPIRIT, you are not  UNDER THE Law  ".  For you are now a  SON  OF  GOD, born of the SPIRIT. ( Galatians 5:18 / Galatians 4:4-7   Galatians 3:23-26  /  Romans 8:9-17 ) . BELIEVE  !  and be free ... ( John 3:16-19  / John 3:36  /  Romans 8:2-5 ).

The world cannot solve its problems of sin and death. WHY? MAN is the problem. Man is in a state of death. He is a broken twig that is cut off from the trunk or source of life: GOD. 

John 15:4-6 (NIV) Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire, and burned.

All human beings are born with the same human nature: FLESH. When Adam, the first Man sinned, we all shared his sinful human life. Thus, the problem is not human deeds or works. Some call these SIN or "transgression of the law". To solve the problem, they propose: OBEY THE LAW. 

Governments and religions advocate this prime solution. But it is only a BAND-AID solution, a patch on the outside but no healing on the inside where the real problem is. Man's real problem is himself: he has no life in himself. This is death. He is not connected to the SOURCE OF LIFE: GOD. 

Christ came down from God and he tasted death at the Cross for us all so that we could have LIFE. That is the only SOLUTION: SPIRIT LIFE OF CHRIST. Believe Christ saved you. He offers his ETERNAL LIFE to you. It's a free GIFT. Just believe Jesus Christ and you can now live HIS LIFE, free from sin death, and the law. By faith in Christ, you are now connected to God, the SOURCE. HIS eternal life flows into your spirit in torrents of love. Rejoice, BELIEVERS! You are now ALIVE. 

Galatians 2:19-21 (NIV) 19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

FAFP Daily Devotional: Bakit Ayaw mo ng Kalayaan?

Unawain: Makasalanan ka. Buhay mo buhay tao o LAMAN ( human life). Ipinanganak kang tao na likas na makasalanan. 

“Narito, ako'y inanyuan sa kasamaan; at sa kasalanan ay ipinaglihi ako ng aking ina,” (Psalms 51:5, Tagalog AB)

“At kayo'y binuhay niya, nang kayo'y mga patay dahil sa inyong mga pagsalangsang at mga kasalanan, Na inyong nilakaran noong una ayon sa lakad ng sanglibutang ito, ayon sa pangulo ng mga kapangyarihan ng hangin, ng espiritu na ngayon ay gumagawa sa mga anak ng pagsuway; Sa gitna ng mga yaon, tayo rin naman, ng ibang panahon ay nangabubuhay sa mga kahalayan ng ating laman, na ating ginagawa ang mga pita ng laman at ng pagiisip, at tayo noo'y katutubong mga anak ng kagalitan, gaya naman ng mga iba:” (Ephesians 2:1-3, Tagalog AB)

Dahil dito, pinatungan ka ng Dios ng Kautusan ng 10 Utos upang malaman mo na ikaw ay makasalanan.

“Sapagka't sa pamamagitan ng mga gawa ng kautusan ay walang laman na aariing-ganap sa paningin niya; sapagka't sa pamamagitan ng kautusan ay ang pagkakilala ng kasalanan.” (Romans 3:20, Tagalog AB)

Akala mo sa ikabubuhay mo yun.Mali ka kasi sa ikamamatay mo yun. Hindi mo masunod at hinatulan ka ng kamatayan ng kautusan.

“At nang isang panahon ako'y nabubuhay na walang kautusan: datapuwa't nang dumating ang utos, ay muling nabuhay ang kasalanan at ako'y namatay; At ang utos na sa ikabubuhay, ay nasumpungan kong ito'y sa ikamamatay; Sapagka't ang kasalanan, nang makasumpong ng pagkakataon, ay dinaya ako sa pamamagitan ng utos, at sa pamamagitan nito ay pinatay ako.” (Romans 7:9-11, Tagalog AB)

“Sapagka't ang lahat na sa mga gawang ayon sa kautusan ay nasa ilalim ng sumpa: sapagka't nasusulat, Sinusumpa ang bawa't hindi nananatili sa lahat ng mga bagay na nasusulat sa aklat ng kautusan, upang gawin nila.” (Galatians 3:10, Tagalog AB)

Pero mahal ka ng Dios. Sa halip na ikaw ang mamatay, binigay niya ang Anak niya na bumaba sa lupa sa katawang tao. Siya ang TUMUBOS sayo mula sa sumpa ng kautusan.

“Sa sumpa ng kautusan ay tinubos tayo ni Cristo, na naging sumpa sa ganang atin; sapagka't nasusulat, Sinusumpa ang bawa't binibitay sa punong kahoy: Upang sa mga Gentil ay dumating ang pagpapala ni Abraham na kay Cristo Jesus; upang sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya ay tanggapin natin ang pangako ng Espiritu.” (Galatians 3:13-14, Tagalog AB)

“At dahil dito'y siya ang tagapamagitan ng isang bagong tipan, upang sa pamamagitan ng isang kamatayan na ukol sa ikatutubos ng mga pagsalangsang na nasa ilalim ng unang tipan, ang mga tinawag ay magsitanggap ng pangako na manang walang hanggan.” (Hebrews 9:15, Tagalog AB)

Yun ang PAGPAPALAYA sayo mula sa kautusan. Hindi ka na sakop pa ng kautusan kasi "NAMATAY KA NA SA KAUTUSAN sa pamamagitan ng katawan ni Cristo" na kumuha ng hatol ng kautusan para sayo.

“Sapagka't ako sa pamamagitan ng kautusan ay namatay, sa kautusan, upang ako'y mabuhay sa Dios. Ako'y napako sa krus na kasama ni Cristo; at hindi na ako ang nabubuhay, kundi si Cristo ang nabubuhay sa akin: at ang buhay na ikinabubuhay ko ngayon sa laman ay ikinabubuhay ko sa pananampalataya, ang pananampalataya na ito'y sa Anak ng Dios, na sa akin ay umibig, at ibinigay ang kaniyang sarili dahil sa akin. Hindi ko niwawalan ng halaga ang biyaya ng Dios: sapagka't kung sa pamamagitan ng kautusan ay ang katuwiran, kung gayo'y si Cristo ay namatay ng walang kabuluhan.” (Galatians 2:19-21, Tagalog AB)

Yan ang GOOD NEWS! "PINALAYA KA NI CRISTO mula sa kautusan.

“Datapuwa't ngayon tayo'y nangaligtas sa kautusan, yamang tayo'y nangamatay doon sa nakatatali sa atin; ano pa't nagsisipaglingkod na tayo sa panibagong espiritu, at hindi sa karatihan ng sulat.” (Romans 7:6, Tagalog AB)

Kung sasampalataya ka kay Cristo at sa GOOD NEWS nayan, MATUWID ka na at bibigyan ka ng BUHAY ESPIRITU NI CRISTO. ( Gal.3:2,13,14; Efeso 1:13,14) 

“Na sa kaniya'y kayo rin naman, pagkarinig ng aral ng katotohanan, ng evangelio ng inyong kaligtasan, na sa kaniya rin naman, mula nang kayo'y magsisampalataya, ay kayo'y tinatakan ng Espiritu Santo, na ipinangako, Na siyang patotoo sa ating mana, hanggang sa ikatutubos ng sariling pag-aari ng Dios, sa ikapupuri ng kaniyang kaluwalhatian.” (Ephesians 1:13-14, Tagalog AB)

Kaibigan, Salita ng Dios yan:

PINALAYA ka ni Cristo mula sa buhay tao mo na makasalanan at binigyan ka ng GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. 

“Sapagka't ang kabayaran ng kasalanan ay kamatayan; datapuwa't ang kaloob na walang bayad ng Dios ay buhay na walang hanggan kay Cristo Jesus na Panginoon natin.” (Romans 6:23, Tagalog AB)

Please, tanggapin mo ang KALAYAAN O BUHAY ESPIRITU NI CRISTO sa iyong buhay ngayon.

“(Sapagka't sinasabi niya, Sa panahong ukol kita'y pinakinggan, At sa araw ng pagliligtas kita'y sinaklolohan: Narito, ngayon ang panahong ukol; narito, ngayon ang araw ng kaligtasan):” (2 Corinthians 6:2, Tagalog AB)

"THE CHAIN OF GOD'S TIMING: A WITNESS TO THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL IN ISABELA!"

Lara, a former Seventh-Day Adventist, is Brother Gerald Sabas's good wife. We featured Brother Gerald's testimony last time, and he is a diligent FAFP evangelist in the Isabela area. Not long after they got married, Gerald was baptized in The Complete in Jesus Ministry church of the Former Adventist Fellowship Philippines because he clearly understood the true gospel of salvation that he never learned during the extended time he served as a youth leader of the Seventh-day Adventist church in their district. Since then, Gerald has been diligently praying and preaching the good news of salvation to Lara. Her new family, Former Adventist Fellowship Philippines, is also busy praying for Lara to accept the true gospel of Christ.

On the other hand, Gerald was confident enough to share the good news of salvation with his family and in-laws despite the fear that he might be scolded and ostracized because of his decision to leave the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Because of this, a Bible exposition was held by Ptr Leonardo Balberan and his son, Ptr Donard Leo Balberan took place on Saturday (July 1, 2023) at Gerald's home. It was also attended by his family and in-laws who are all members of the Seventh-Day Adventist church including some relatives who also belong to the said church.

After a long question and discussions about the true gospel of salvation, including the exposure of the error of Seventh-day Adventist doctrines, in the afternoon after lunch, Lara decided to be baptized, and unexpectedly, the mother-in-law, Natividad Miranda Sabas also decided to be baptized as well! Praise God for His continued love and blessing of salvation for these two souls who have found salvation and eternal life by the grace of God!

What is surprising is that Gerald's parents-in-law and his relatives also promised to be baptized soon, which includes the former Elder of the Naguilian Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bro Rogelio Viernes. By the grace of God, his eyes were opened when he heard for the first time the gospel presentation purely from the Holy Scriptures. He began to understand why it is wrong to remain in the Seventh-day Adventist because of its questionable and unbiblical teachings.

They only asked for a little time for them to invite their other family members to hear about the message of salvation and get baptized altogether. During Ptr Leonardo Balberan's Bible exposition, they even asked for everything they wanted to confirm regarding the false teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist and the power of the Holy Spirit and praise God everything was clarified to them.

Around 3:00 in the afternoon, on a cloudy day before the rain poured down, the baptism of Sister Lara and Sister Naty took place. After the baptism, heavy rain poured down as if the heavens were also celebrating because of these two souls who found their salvation in Christ alone. God has truly won again and proved that no matter how fanatical any Seventh-day Adventist members are in their doctrine, it is possible for them to awaken to the true teachings of the Gospel of Christ.

With the mercy and guidance of God and the help of the Former Adventist Fellowship Philippines family, we strongly believe that the gospel of salvation will grow in the location of Benitos Soliven Isabela and San Mariano Isabela where Bro Gerald is assigned. Let us continue to pray for the many Seventh-day Adventist souls who will find true salvation in the name of Jesus alone!
