"Pastor Ronald, may katotohanan po ba yung claim ng mga KJV Only advocates na maraming salita raw ang tinanggal sa mga modern Bible translations?"

Actually, hindi totoo na “tinanggal” ang mga salita sa modern translations mas tama sabihin na “dinagdag” ang ilang words sa later manuscripts na ginamit ng King James Version (KJV). Here’s the context:

Example:

  • Mark 16:9–20 and John 7:53–8:11 — may footnote sa modern Bibles na “not found in earliest manuscripts.”

  • 1 John 5:7 (Trinitarian formula) — added later by scribes to support the Trinity (hindi fake doctrine, pero later addition).

Kaya in short:

Modern translations didn’t remove words — they restored the original text.

KJV is still beautiful and historically valuable, pero huwag natin gawing idol ang translation. Lahat ng faithful translations (KJV, ESV, NASB, NIV, CSB, etc.) ay pwede gamitin ng Diyos para ipahayag ang katotohanan ng Kanyang Salita.

As Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is God-breathed” — and that includes the Word preserved and faithfully translated through time.
