QUESTION: “Pastor Ronald, kailangan pa ba ng Christian mag-aral ng apologetics?

Question:

Answer:

Ang ganda ng tanong mo!  Short answer: Oo, kailangan pa rin. Pero let me explain para klaro talaga:

The Holy Spirit is not anti-intelligence.

2. Apologetics is not about winning arguments; it’s about defending truth.

Sabi ni Peter, “Always be ready to give an answer (apologia) to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you.” — 1 Peter 3:15

3. The Spirit guides, but knowledge sharpens.

Think of it this way:

  • The Holy Spirit is like the wind in your sail.

  • Apologetics is like the rudder of your boat.

Without the Spirit, wala kang power. Without knowledge, wala kang direction. Kaya kailangan pareho.

Remember: false teachers also claim “Spirit-guidance.”

Sasabihin nila, “The Spirit told me...” pero walang solid Bible foundation.

“The Holy Spirit empowers us, but apologetics equips us. One gives fire; the other gives aim.”
